On September 24, Huang Anzhong, vice president of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) and president of China National Building Materials Import & Export Corporation (CBMIE), met with a delegation headed by Jose Carlos Martins, executive director of Vale, in Beijing. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two sides exchanged ideas on cooperation and looked into the future.
Huang introduced the operations of CNBM and CNBIE, reviewed the rapid development of CBMIE’s iron ore business in recent years, and focused on the company’s strategic position to become a general service provider and integrated supplier in the iron ore industry. He hoped CNBIE and Vale would further deepen cooperation in a joint effort to build a top iron ore supply chain.
CNBIE is a hard-won partner of Vale that has a wide sales network, good purchase credit, professional staff and great industrial advantage, Martins noted, hoping the two sides would, on an original basis, give full play to respective advantages, constantly deepen understanding, and promote reciprocity and win-win, in a bid to forge a longstanding and stable partnership.
