On January 14, 2014, China National Building Materials Import & Export Corporation (CBMIE) and its associated company in Hong Kong signed a cooperative agreement on iron ore agency withVale International Ltd. (Vale Marketing Entity). Huang Anzhong, vice president of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) and president of CBMIE and Claudio Alves, global director of marketing and sales of Vale signed the agreement on behalf of respective sides.
Huang voiced his good expectation for deepening of cooperation and firm belief in long-term cooperation with Vale. He said, it is encouraging that the agreement was finally reached after long-term negotiation. The agreement's conclusion marks a new beginning, CBMIE and its associated company in Hong Kong will take full advantage of their resources and channels to pave the way for the cooperation through the best services and most refined management.
Claudio spoke highly of the effective cooperation between the two sides over a long period of time. He said, CNBM has a good reputation, a broad sales network and a strong capacity for resource integration as a major partner of Vale. The cooperation is of great significance to both sides and win-win is believed to be achieved.
