On March 25, a delegation from Antalya Province of Turkey visited the national key laboratory of new technology of float glass and the production line of ultra-thin glass substrate.
In the national key laboratory of new technology of float glass, Mr. Li Zhiming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Committee of Bengbu Institute, introduced the institute’s layout in emerging industries, and main achievements gained by the institute in such sectors as new glass, new materials, new energy, etc. in recent years. When the delegation came to the exhibition hall and saw many dazzling exhibits, they were in high spirits, and some of them touched many products, including hollow glass microspheres and photoelectric glass. At the production line of ultra-thin glass substrate, when seeing the 0.2mm ultra-thin glass, members of the delegation asked questions about the product’s usages, markets, etc., learnt the production process and flow of electronic information display glass, and highly appreciated the leading position of Bengbu institute in the industry.
